Booking Policy

Welcome to Enkeltflytta! We’re glad you’ve chosen us for your move. Please read the following terms that apply to your booking. These policies are designed to ensure a safe, efficient, and transparent moving experience.

Furnishing and Placement

  • Basic Placement: Our standard service includes rough placement of furniture and items in your new home according to your instructions. Moving boxes and smaller items will be placed in a strategic location for your convenience.
  • Detailed Furniture Placement: Detailed arrangement of furniture is not included in the fixed price but is available as an additional service upon request.

Volume and Price Adjustments

  • The quoted price is based on the estimated volume of your household items, provided by you or assessed by our team.
  • If the actual volume is greater than estimated, we reserve the right to adjust the final price in accordance with the additional time, labor, or equipment required. Price adjustments will follow the Bohag 2010 guidelines.

Packing and Fragile Items

  • If you pack your items, you are responsible for any damage resulting from incorrect or inadequate packing.
  • When Enkeltflytta packs for you, we assume full responsibility for proper handling.
  • Please use durable boxes and appropriate cushioning materials (e.g., bubble wrap, newspaper) for all fragile items.

Access and Distance Considerations

  • If the loading or unloading distance exceeds 10–15 meters (including walkways, stairs, or urban parking limitations), please inform us at the time of booking.
  • Delays or additional time caused by difficult access may result in added charges.

Insurance Coverage

  • All moves are insured up to SEK 10 million in accordance with Bohag 2010.
  • You are encouraged to maintain your own household insurance for added protection.

Damage Handling

  • Any damage claims are processed in consultation with our insurance provider.
  • Claims must be reported as soon as possible after delivery.

Furniture Preparation

  • Some items may require dismantling or protection in advance of the move.
  • Our moving vehicles are equipped with protective blankets, but delicate or antique furniture should be pre-wrapped by you or can be protected by us if you’ve ordered this service.
  • We accept responsibility for dismantling and protection only if explicitly agreed upon.

Heavy or Bulky Items

  • Please notify us at the time of booking if you need to move heavy or special items such as Pianos, Safes and Gym equipment
  • These may incur additional charges and require special equipment or handling.

Valuables and High-Value Items

  • Items valued over SEK 22,000 must be declared at the time of booking.
  • We do not transport jewelry, cash, or other high-value personal items. Please arrange alternative transportation for such belongings.

Move-Out Cleaning

  • We follow the Swedish Real Estate Association and Tenants’ Association guidelines for move-out cleaning.
  • A checklist will be provided upon request. Cleaning services are available as an add-on.

Prices and Rut Deductions

  • All prices include VAT.
  • If eligible, you may receive Rut deductions for household services. We manage Rut reporting with the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket).
  • It is your responsibility to verify your Rut eligibility before booking.

Agreement Terms and Deviations

  • We offer removal and disposal of leftover furniture or belongings.
  • This service is billed at a fixed removal fee plus a recycling/disposal fee based on weight and type of material.

  • The quoted price is based on the estimated volume of your household items, provided by you or assessed by our team.
  • If the actual volume is greater than estimated, we reserve the right to adjust the final price in accordance with the additional time, labor, or equipment required. Price adjustments will follow the Bohag 2010 guidelines.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule your booking, please follow the terms below

  • 5 days or more before the move: No cancellation fee.
  • 3–4 days before: 50% of the quoted price will be charged.
  • 2 days before: 75% of the quoted price will be charged.
  • Same day or 1 day before: 100% of the quoted price will be charged.

These terms apply to compensate for staffing, vehicle planning, and other resource allocation.
